JOHN BILLINGSLEY

John Billingsley is an American actor best known for his role as Doctor Phlox on the television series "Star Trek: Enterprise." He was born on May 20, 1960 in Media, Pennsylvania and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. He began his acting career in the theater before transitioning to television and film. In addition to his role on "Star Trek: Enterprise," Billingsley has appeared in a variety of television shows and films, including "The X-Files," "24," "The West Wing," and "Deadwood." He also guest starred on many popular TV shows such as "Desperate Housewives" and "The Mentalist" . He also has a recurring role in the HBO series "True Blood". Billingsley has also lent his voice to several animated series and video games, including "Star Wars: The Old Republic" and "Batman: Arkham Knight". He is married to actress Bonita Friedericy.
